We would like to say THANK YOU to everyone for their continued support in making the Glass Craft & Bead Expo one of the premier events in the art glass industry. With the positive feedback from the attendees as well as the instructors and exhibitors the show proved successful for all! The show saw approximately 9,000 guests!!
The dates for the 2009 Expo will be Wednesday April 1st through April 5th at the South Point Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV. Classes will begin on Wednesday, April 1st and the show floor will open on Friday, April 3rd. Look for a larger show floor more classes with new instructors!

International Hot Glass Invitational
The Glass Craft & Bead Expo would like to present the first ever International Hot Glass Invitational!! Skilled Glass artists from around the world will come to show off their talents at this judged event. April 3rd and 4th, during the Glass Craft & Bead expo -- Don't miss this much anticipated event!!
The International Hot Glass Invitational will be held in conjunction with the 15th annual Glass Craft & Bead Expo in the Equestrian Center located next to the exhibition hall. This 30,000 square foot, 4,400 seat arena is well appointed with (4) 72' flat screen monitors that face all sides of the arena along with a private "VIP" bar which has seating for 250 with full bar and kitchen access. The goal is to provide the audience with the largest most dramatic glass sculptures and vessels that the timed sessions will allow. We have invited some of the most renowned hot glass flamework and furnace work artists from around the world to compete. Each team will have 2 ½ hours to produce their works.
Opportunity Village was the 2008 Charity Auction Recipient
Opportunity Village is a not-for-profit organization that serves men and women with physical and intellectual disabilities in the Las Vegas community. One of our newest programs is Arts & Enrichment. This program has opened up doors of communication for some of our most disabled citizens. Many can not speak but through art have been able to express themselves to the world around them, and show us all how truly talented they are.
Richard Snyder once again has donated the Mark 23 Kleen Master Sink to be raffled off with proceeds going to Opportunity Village. For further information on the raffle click here.
